Subject: With the Collaborative Divorce Act, we are likely to see more practitioners of varying levels.  How can we maintain TBACP’s high standards in cases with beginners?  What resources can we rely on when cases get challenging due to lack of training?  How can we solve problems when teams don’t get along? How do we police our own?  Should we agree as part of our Team Prep Meeting to use TBACP’s Confidential Team Assistance Program if necessary, so it’s welcomed as a constructive resource rather than a threat?  Do we use cooperative instead of collaborative?  Natural deadlines for accountability especially with untrained attorneys and manipulative, controlling and uninvested clients?  Do we refer cases only to ourselves?
