Please register here to attend this Thursday’s HCBA Collaborative Law section at noon at the Chester Ferguson Law Center in Tampa.
Two of our board members, Ellen Ware and Kristin DiMeo, are co-chairing the section this year and will be joined by attorney Adam Cordover to lead an interactive discussion of how to talk to clients about the collaborative process, whether recommending books is helpful, and what other resources are most effective.
Books discussed will include:
- Divorce the Collaborative Way, Is it the Way for You?
- The Collaborative Way to Divorce: The Revolutionary Method that Results in Less Stress, Lower Costs and Happier Kids – Without Going to Court
1.0 CLE Credit (applied for) – A Construction Attorney’s Perspective from the Bench: What I Would Have Done Differently
Judge Mark Kiser, Hillsborough Circuit Court-Foreclosure Division, a board certified construction attorney, will be sharing fresh insights from the bench and giving a few practical tips for the wary on the interplay of foreclosure actions and construction liens.
