There is one required assignment prior to the training to reach our approved 14.5 hours of total training.
Join us for an engaging and informative 2-day training provided in conjunction with the unique Collaborative Family Law Clinic at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. The training will teach you what the Collaborative Law process has to offer clients and the professionals who assist them. This practice-oriented approach to training will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to provide Collaborative services within your local practice group. This training includes a special section on increasing access to Collaborative process for diverse clients. This course is intended for lawyers, mental health professionals, financial professionals, mediators, paralegals, real estate/ mortgage professionals, and students who would like to work with clients in the Collaborative process. Continuing education credit is available. There will be 14.5 training hours (please see information below for discipline specific continuing education hours). Lunch will be provided both days. Training hours include a working lunch on the second day and attendance is required as part of the training hours.
